Troubleshooting Dim Trailer Lighting

Question:
Hello, I have a question regarding trailer brake and turn signals. At first, I was having trouble with all of the lights so I installed a new wishbone 4-way harness to the trailer. After installing the harness, the running lights seemed a lot brighter. Now I’m having problems with the turn signals and brake lights. They come on, but are very dim. Could this be a grounding issue? Thanks in advance for any help with this issue.

Most likely it's a ground issue. When we see trailer lights not being fully bright the issue is almost always an insufficient ground. I would recommend running a jumper ground wire from the light assemblies to the main ground of the trailer and you should see the lights start working like normal. I attached a help article on troubleshooting trailer wiring for you to check out as well.
