Tips on Driving a Roll Pin In or Out to Replace Ladder Rung 8538-T

Question:
how does one remove the existing roll pin in order to put the replacement rung in the ladder? Are special tools needed?

If you have a center punch or a very thin screwdriver you could drive out the roll pins, or drive them in, using a hammer. You don't have to have any special tools unless you do not have anything that is no larger than the diameter of the roll pin.
