Is the VGD-94-101 tailgate hardware kit 2160 included when I purchase a VGD-94-101 tailgate for 2001 Dodge 2500 pickup? Also, need tailgate replacement cables. What do I order? #

The Stromberg Carlson 100 Series 5th Wheel Tailgate with Open Design for Dodge Trucks # VGD-94-101 comes with most of the hardware needed for installation on your 2001 Dodge Ram 2500. For some reason it seems they don't give you the additional 4 screws and locknuts that are included in the replacement hardware kit # VGD-94-101-2160 but you can also just go to the local hardware store for those parts as that is all that is missing. Neither kit comes with cables.

There isn't a specific cable for this tailgate and the Replacement Tailgate Cable for Stromberg Carlson 4000 Series 5th Wheel Louvered Tailgate # 7455-356 is a little to long so unfortunately we don't have a great option without modification.
