Can Round Bars on 8K Fastway System be Swapped Out to Make 10K System

I currently have the E2 8000lb system, i purchased a new TT and the tounge weight is more in the 850 range now. My question is can I just buy the 10000lb trunnion bars and will they work with my current head? Thanks,

Since the same head unit # FA94-02-1055 is used for your current 8K system # FA94-00-0800 and the 10K system # FA94-00-1061, you can certainly upgrade your bars to the 1,000 lb TW part # FA94-02-1099 for your new trailer. Just be sure to check your weight distribution shank. It should be rated for 12K but it never hurts to double check.
