Will the Starter Solenoid Part # PK5230501 Work on my ATV
Updated 08/21/2018 | Published 08/20/2018 >
Question:
I have taken the solenoid off of my atv. Part # PK5230501 looks identical to this one, housing a tad different. It is a 12V starter solenoid. I know this isnt what a 2001 Polaris 425 Xpedition solenoid looks like when you look up the part BUT this is IDENTICAL to it in looks. Polaris only made a atv like mine for 2 years so it is somewhat rare. In your opinion will this one work?

The Starter Solenoid part # PK5230501 has an intermittent function which should be the same as what is on your ATV now so as long as the wiring is installed correctly and the amperage (100 amps) is the same then I do think it will work for you but I would obviously not have any way of knowing for certain.
