Question:
Hello, I recently purchased a battery isolator to install an auxiliary battery on my car hauler to power interior lights and a 1500w power invertor. What gauge wire should I run from the isolator to the positive terminal of the battery? Standard 4ga wire? Does that wire need to be fused? Im doubt this would matter, but I plan on wiring the 12v stud on the isolator to the parking lights on the trailer side

When using a battery isolator solenoid like the # PK5231201 that you referenced we typically recommend using 10 gauge wire like # 10-1-1 or # 10-2-1 (sold by the foot). No fuse will be needed for the solenoid center pin as its function is really only to close the circuit to let voltage pass through the other two pins.
