Recommended Inverter to Power RV Fridge From Two 12V Batteries

Question:

It draws 6.61 amps and I will only use the inverter to power the fridge. Since you guys have got me all set up on towing my Jeep and Miata, I thought I would ask about this for my RV. I have twin 12v batteries for the coach and they are situated just below the RV fridge, in a storage bay. Distance is no more than 4-5 feet. I have a Forest River FR3 32DS coach.

If your 12V batteries are wired in parallel for 12V output, the Go Power Pure Sine Wave Inverter # 34279948 that you were looking at should work great to power your RV fridge. This pure sine wave inverter provides 1,000 watts of continuous output power, more than enough for your fridge that draws 6.61 amps. Having both your batteries run in parallel will also extend its run time when powered.
