Which Pins of 6-Way are for 12 Volt Power and Ground
Published 07/26/2018 >
Question:
I currently have a 4 way coiled cable from rv to towed vehicle. I just had the shop run two wires from chassis battery to back of rv. A towed battery charger is being shipped now. So I want to buy a 6 way cable and connector from you guys. My question is if the positive wire from battery goes to connector center pin, where does the negative side go? Thank you very much for your help.

I attached a picture that has a diagram of how a 6-way wiring harness is pinned out. The center pin is the 12 volt power circuit and the pin in the 1:00 position on the female socket as you face the open connector is the ground circuit.
