Question:
Why does a key not come with the cylinders? If I have a thule key for a roof rack can I use that key for the new cylinders? Thanks.

Expert Reply:
Yes, you would just need to order the lock core that has the same number that is on your key. For example, the Replacement Lock Cylinder for Thule Racks and Carriers part # THLOCKN105 is designed for use with a Thule N105 key. If you enter part THLOCKN### and then the number on your key that will give you the correct lock core. You will also need to use the Universal Change Key for Thule Locks part # 853-1251 to change your old lock core(s) out.
