To carry your Sears X-Cargo box with your 2000 Chevrolet Impala you will need a roof rack.
I recommend going with the Rhino-Rack roof rack which consists of the Aero Bars # RRVA126B-2, 2500 Series Legs # RRRLKVA, and DK Fit Kit # DK146. This clamps to the frame of your Impala and provides you with crossbars to install your cargo box on.
If you are wanting a roof rack that is a little more cost-effective then we have the SportRack Semi-Custom Roof Rack # SR1002. I only recommend going this route if you don't plan on carrying your cargo box very often or far.
