Installation of Fan-Tastic Vent Cover On Clamp On Style Vent

Question:

The clamp on vent has no pre-drilled holes. If the fantastic vent cover will work, I need a drawing showing the measurements for locating the holes. Also will the included screws fit correctly and brackets Thanks

If your existing vent is screwed onto your roof, you will not need to drill holes to install this cover. Simply use the existing screws on each side of your vent and some caulk to attach the 4 mounting brackets included with the Ultra Breeze. Then secure the cover to the brackets with the included hardware. I've attached a diagram to assist.

The clamp on style vent like # FV801208 does not have these screws or holes, so you will need to use the cover to line up your brackets to determine the proper drilling locations for ideal fit. There is some adjustability for this fit, but to ensure proper fit you will need to use the unit as a template as the manufacturer doesn't give those dimensions. These are confirmed to fit together.
