Best Sidewinder Wedge Kit Fit for the Curt E16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch

Just got the the C16115 fifth wheel hitch and I got the C16991 wedge for it to use with my sidewinder. The wedge seems to have room to move in the hitch. Can the Universal wedge be used your do I need the Reese 30861 wedge and will it fit better then the C16991 wedge? I have not installed it yet I just held the wedge in there by hand and it seems to have to much room to move.

I reached out to my contact at Curt and they advised me that once you actually bolt the Sidewinder Wedge # C16991 on the Sidewinder there should not be any wiggle room.
The Sidewinder Wedge Kit for Curt E-16K Fifth Wheel Hitch # RP64FR will provide the same fit as the # C16991.
I recommend using the # C16991 or the # RP64FR instead of the Universal Wedge because they are specifically made for the Curt E16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch.
