How Much Weather Protection Would the Bestop Collapsible Bed Cover Part B76308 Provide

Question:

does the Bestop Supertop prevent water from entering the truck bed? Also, how secure is it installed to prevent it from getting stolen? 2005 Toyota Tacoma double cab TRD Off Road 2x4. 5 bed.

The Bestop Supertop Collapsible Bed Cover, part # B76308 would do a pretty good job of keeping the bed of your truck dry. The side window zippers and the point where the rear of the Supertop would meet the tailgate would be the two points were the Supertop might be vulnerable to water seepage.

The Supertop is not what I would be called theft-proof, but in order to remove it quickly, a potential thief would need to be familiar with how it attaches to the vehicle.
