RoadActive Suspension Kit that Fits 2014 GMC Savana 3500 Van

Question:

I noticed that the RAS system was for cargo vans. I have a passenger van that I use 95 of the time to pull my 7500# 27 foot travel trailer, I should also note my van has a Duramax diesel. Due to the stiff suspension of the 3500 I sometimes have porpoiseing issues. ?s are - Can I put the RAS system on the van - If so will it help to minimize the porpoiseing issue I also utilize a blue ox wd hitch Thanks

The RoadActive Suspension kit part # RAS2611-V that you referenced is a confirmed fit for your 2014 GMC Savana Van. It will give you additional suspension support but it would stiffen the suspension up so it would not necessarily help with the issue you described.

I suspect your issue is related to the rating of your weight distribution system. Which part number do you have? It sounds like you have a system rated too high for the tongue weight of your trailer.
