The correct Blue Ox base plate kit that you need for your 2017 Ford Fusion Hybrid is the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit part # BLU44FR which is a direct fit. If you need a tow bar that is compatible with this base plate kit then I recommend the Blue Ox Alpha Tow Bar part # BX7380 because it has a triple lug connection for security and a self-aligning design for ease of use.

I have attached a photo of what the base plate kit will look like once installed. In addition to the above base plate kit and tow bar/safety cables you will also need a wiring harness, supplemental braking system, and possible high-low adapter. If you need any of these other parts then please let me know and I would be happy to offer my recommendation.

Is BX 2672 your part number? Blue Ox calls out a BX2684 for a 2019 Ford Fusion Hybrid Titanium. Also, Looking at the base plate on your website does not match the base plate in the installation drawing provided by Blue Ox for the BX2684...Happy to buy yours...Just want to make sure what I need.

Actually both the Blue Ox # BX2672 and # BLU44FR (which is the Blue Ox part BX2684) are a fit for your 2019 Ford Fusion Hybrid Titanium. Blue Ox recently replaced the # BX2672 with this unit in their base plate line - so either will work, but for the current design you'll want to go with the Blue Ox # BLU44FR.
