Question:
I live in Calif. And am considering a move to Nevada what unit do you recommend for my 2014 F350 6.7 powerstroke super duty Ford. I had asked you earlier about a unit for Calif. and you recommend EP16040. What is your suggestion for a state other than Calif?

Expert Reply:
If you were to move out of California then you could still use the Edge EvoHT2 Hand-Held Performance Tuner part # EP16040 but for a better option I recommend the Superchips Flashpaq F5 Performance Tuner part # SU1845 which is also more cost effective.
As I am sure you are already aware, California has very strict emission regulations which means the preloaded tunes that the California approved tuner comes with will be more conservative then the preloaded tunes that comes with the non California approved tuner. This means that it will be very unlikely that you experience the full potential increase of up to 157 HP and 180 TQ while using the tuner that is approved for use in California.
