I have a 2011 gmc, my question is where do you mount it at so when you change the filter you dont spill transmission all over everything,i see know place under the hood for it. Help if you have a recommendation.

The best place to put the Derale Remote Transmission Filter Kit # D13090 so you can more easily install a Replacement Filter # D13092 is simply wherever you have the most room, though there is not going to be an extensive amount of space under any hood and there isn't a specific area for each vehicle. Accordingly, Derale does not specify a location, but in the directions they do suggest Firewall, Radiator Support or Fender Well, which are areas to check out on your 2011 GMC Sierra.
