Low Propane Gas Flow from Camper to Weber Grill

Question:
i bought this hose for my weber q grill , it connected perfectly but the gas flow is low , does it matter if there is a regulator on the camper propane tank and on the weber q grill or is there another reason for this

Expert Reply:
The flow of propane can't be over-regulated unless the 2 different regulators restrict the flow at different amounts. Take a look at what your Weber grill requires and what your camper regulator is rated for (assuming that the regulator on the grill is correct for that grill). Most camper propane systems use low pressure, 11 inch water column, appliances so if your grill is different then that could be the problem.
Another possible issue is the length of the supply hose from the camper to the grill. The longer the hose the more pressure drop-off there is. Going with a shorter hose may be all you need. I have included some links on propane systems that may also help.
