Recommended J-Style Kayak Carrier for a 2014 Nissan Rogue SV with Factory Roof Rack

Question:

Wondering if a J kayak holder would work on the roof rack of my 2014 Nissan Rogue SV. Am including a picture. They arent straight bars. Was only able to get pic of one of the bars.

Thanks for the photo! I spoke to my contact at Thule and they were able to confirm that the Thule Hull-A-Port Kayak Carrier part # TH834 will fit the factory crossbars on your 2014 Nissan Rogue SV. However since the bars are at an angle you will want to hold the carrier level on the bar and then tighten the knobs. One of the knobs will need to be tightened more than the other as this will allow the carrier to set level on the bars.

The Hull-A-Port is an excellent option for your Rogue. It has padded uprights to protect your kayak and all of the tie-downs and straps needed to secure it to the roof. As long as your kayak does not exceed 75 lbs or 36" wide then this carrier will work well for you.
