Keel Roller Center Diameter Dimension of # YR1200Y

Updated 06/12/2018 | Published 06/11/2018

Question:

I would like to know the diameter of the keel roller in the very center, where the keel would ride. I have limited clearance in this area after the installation of the Keel Guard protector and now my original black rubber roller will not fit. There is interference with the keel of the boat, so I need a roller that is smaller in diameter at the point where the keel rides. My current roller is 2 3/8inch diameter, so I am looking for a roller that would be somewhere around 1 3/4inch to 2inch in diameter, in the center.

The Yates Keel Roller for Boat Trailers - TPR - 12" Long - 5/8" Shaft - Blue # YR1200B has a diameter of 2.1 inches at the center when I measured it using a digital caliper. It sounds like this will work well for your 2 inch diameter need as that measurement is not compressed in the slightest.
