No Power to Brake Controller After Install

Question:
I have installed the Tekonsa P3 controller in my 2014 Escalade. The 12VDC power to the controller is not present at the connections within the truck. I have checked all of my wiring with a continuity and voltage device. my wiring connections are solid. I have checked the fuses and J case fuses and all are good. Is there some special connections to the controller that I am not aware of? Does the trailer have to be connected in order for the controller circuit to be powered?

It appears that you have done a very thorough check of the issue to get your Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller # 90195 powered on without the trailer being connected. I am happy to help you get your brake controller powered on.
I have a help article attached called Installing an Electric Brake Controller on 2007-2013 GM Full-Size Truck or 2007-Present GM SUV. Because GM quit offering the plug in type connectors on the aforementioned vehicles with a factory tow package, there are two wires under the hood that have to be connected to make the tow package functional.
If the help article did not solve your issue, we just need to re-confirm there is power getting to your brake controller by using your voltage device or a circuit tester such as # 3808 and test only the black wire on the harness, which will be the battery wire. That's how you will be able to tell if there is actually power getting through and into the Prodigy P3 # 90195.
If there is power getting through that wire but not to the P3 then the controller will need to be replaced. In terms of other troubleshooting, since you have checked all of the fuses and circuit breakers there isn't going to be much else you can do.
