Can Bulldog Gooseneck Coupler BD0287610300 be Rotated if Outer Tube Holes are on Front

Question:

Hello. I have a jamco trailer and purchased your inner sleeve to use. the pin in my trailer to hold the sleeve in are in the front. Can the coupler sleeve be turned so the locking mechanism is in front or does it have to be on the side? I have a 2007 toyota tundra sr5 extended cab that I pull the trailer with.

Actually it looks like your coupler uses set screws to stay in position and not a pin like # BD0287610300. So you would actually want the coupler to go in like normal, with the handle on the driver's side, so the set screws make contact with the solid metal and not slip into any of the holes.

If those are set screws then I recommend using coupler # BD0287690300 which doesn't have any holes in it.

If they are pins that go all the way through the tube and not set screws then you can rotate the coupler so that the holes line up.
