Attachment Point for Safety Chains on a 2000 Dodge Ram Bumper Recommendation
Updated 09/07/2011 | Published 09/04/2011 >
Question:
The rear bumper on my Dodge Ram has a cross piece to the truck frame. It has 3 holes. One of them fits a 2 inch ball. The other two are 3/4 inch diameter and spaced right for anchoring the safety chains. Do you have a bracket that could bolt here for the safety chains to attach to? Or is it necessary to go all the way to the truck frame with the chains Thanks

Expert Reply:
We do not offer any brackets for safety chains for your 2000 Dodge Ram, but you could run a long bolt through the holes in your bumper to secure a Safety Chain S-Hook # 4380 in each hole. This would give you an attachment point for securing safety chains.
