Is Specific Screw Needed for License Plate Installation on Yakima Rack and Roll?

Question:

Just got my Rack and Roll registered and receive the license plate. How is the license plate supposed to be installed? Is there a certain size screw or bolt suggested to install the license plate?

Yakima does not offer a specific screw size or a specific screw for installing your license plate on the Rack and Roll # Y08106 or # Y08107. You can take your license plate into your local hardware store and find screws that fit through the mounting holes and simply use those with accompanying washer and nut.
