Question:
I have a Silverado 1500 with a Dual Exhaust System, the space between the bolts on the frame and the exhaust system is about 5 inches so the height of the CURT Trailer Hitches - Class IV Square Tube Hitch is about 6 - 1/2 inches so it wont fit, is there a hitch with the height of 5 inches?

I am a little confused since there are no exclusions for hitch # C14006 in terms of exhaust. And we have had customers install it on dual exhaust models, see picture. Is your exhaust system stock or aftermarket? If it is aftermarket then I could see how there could be an issue.
The side plates on the available hitches are all roughly the same since that is the height needed to get the receiver in the proper location. The other option is to use longer exhaust hangers or other components to get the clearance needed. A muffler shop would have the parts and/or be able to do the work.
