Difference Between 3 inch Hub and 3 inch Spigot for Doulbe RV Waste Valve Setups

Question:

What is the difference between a 3inch hub and a 3inch spigot? Double RV Waste Valves - Elbow - Rotating - 3 and 1.5 Hubs to 3 Lug Item # T80 I have a RV waste valve problem. It appears as though I have a Double RV Waste Valves - Elbow - Rotating - 3inch and 1.5inch Hubs to 3inch Lug Item # T80. The leak is in the gray valve. Do you replace the whole valve or can you just replace the gray valve? Thanks

Basically the easiest way to describe it is that hubs fit over spigots. So the Double RV Waste Valves - Elbow - Rotating - 3 and 1.5 Hubs to 3 Lug Item # T80 that you referenced has a 3 inch fitting that is 3 inches in internal diameter designed for fitting over a 3 inch outer diameter (spigot) fitting.

These kits do not come apart so you'd have to replace the entire thing.
