is the mirror glass or plastic

I went out to check on the construction materials of CIPA Top Mounted Blind Spot Mirror # CM49805. I actually needed 2 other opinions because the mirror reflected so well I thought it was glass. But it felt like plastic. Ultimately we determined that it was plastic but a very reflective plastic nonetheless.
