Question:

Will this rack fit on a chevy colorado 2017 crew cab with 5 foot bed with liner? I dont want to damage the liner. If it wont can you recommend one that will?

If your bed liner on your 2017 Chevy Colorado doesn't move then the Erickson Truck Bed Ladder Rack # EM07706 should work just fine. Liners that move around will need to be removed or modified though since you want the ladder rack as secure as possible.

Another option we have that mounts to your stake pockets is the Adarac Pro Series Custom Truck Bed Ladder Rack # A4000950. This is more of a custom fit and features legs that can be repositioned or removed based on your needs. Since this option mounts on top of your bed rails there is the possibility of adding a tonneau cover later on as well.
