Question:
2011 F-350 SUPER DUTY HAS FACTORY INSTALLED HITCH PLATE UNDER BED. WHAT DO I NEED TO INSTALL 25K OR HIGHER HITCH
asked by: NORM L
Expert Reply:
Since you already have the 5th wheel prep package from the factory on your 2011 Ford F-350, you will just need the hitch.
The correct hitch is the B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch, # BWRVK3300, for a standard hitch. The standard hitch is rated for 20,000 pounds. If you needed a slider (for short bed trucks) you would use # BWRVK3370. The slider is rated for 20,000 pounds.
I have included a link to the installation details for both hitches and a link to an FAQ article on the 2011 Ford trucks with the 5th wheel prep package.
