Replacement Y-Style Bow Stop to Not Leave Marks on Boat
Updated 05/22/2018 | Published 05/20/2018 >
Question:
I have a 4inch Rubber Y style bow stop. It leaves marks on the bow of my boat. Do you have any recommendation on a stop that will not leave marks? Maybe a roller with end bells?

Helpful Expert Reply:
I recommend sticking with a Y-style stop except getting one that is designed to not mark up the boat. We have the Yates Rubber stop, part # YR333Y, that's made of a non-marking thermoplastic so you won't have to worry about the marks. However, it's larger than your stop with a span of 6-1/2 inches and a base that measures 3 inches long by 2-7/8 inches wide.
