Question:

Is there enough room along the edge of the bracket upon which the cover rests to install Yakima track mounts or bases for the installation of a rack over the bed? If so, can it be drilled into the BAK alone without damaging the truck bed or bedliner?

With the BAK Revolver X2 Tonneau cover # BAK39602 there is very little overlap between the cover and the bed sides. There will be enough space if you wanted to mount Yakima tracks such as # Y01135. But the tracks cannot be installed into the BAK cover. They would have to mount to the bed sides which would require drilling.

The other option is to use a roof rack on your 2018 Honda Ridgeline. If you think this is a viable option you can take a look at the available options in the provided link.
