How does the puck end of the antenna mount? Inside or outside?

Expert Reply:
The actual antenna (or puck) part of the SiriusXM Vehicle Satellite Radio Antenna # R169159 is magnetic so you can mount it inside or outside of your vehicle. If you wanted to use an adhesive for more of a permanent installation you could do that as well.
It would have better signal outside of the vehicle but you would need to make sure that you run the wire in such a way that it is protected from the elements as well as moving parts on your vehicle (like a door jamb). The cord is 23' long which gives you a lot of options for mounting it.
