Question:
I Have a RV trailer that is approximately 10,000 pounds what is the max load the airbags can support at the tongue of the hitch?

Expert Reply:
The Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs part # F2525 are capable of supporting a load over the rear axle up to 4,800 lbs. The load placed over the rear axle for a 10,000 lb trailer will not be anywhere near this capacity therefore you should have no problems in this aspect.
If you would like to make life a bit easier in regards to filling the airbags, I suggest taking a look at the Firestone Air Command I part # F2158. This kit will allow you to fill the airbags from inside your vehicle without access to an external compressor. It comes with everything you will need including an analog gauge display which will be located in the cab.
If you would like further information on this kit take a look at the attached review video.
