The Roadmaster Even Brake # RM-9400 comes with the Brake-Lite Relay Kit # RM-88400 to ensure that your turn signals can be seen, but it does not include the wiring needed to activate the turn signals on your 2011 Ford Edge with your motorhome. For that I recommend using the Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267. Once installed there is a simple connection that takes place before flat towing. Please note that if your Edge has an active power assist braking system the Even Brake cannot be used.
I took a look at the owner's manual for your Edge and it states that you must keep your key in the accessory position white flat towing it. Since this will drain your battery I recommend using the Charge Line Kit # RM-156-25 which connects your battery to the center pin of the 6-Way that comes with the wiring kit mentioned above. As long as your RV has a fully functional 7-Way this will keep the battery in your Edge charged.
For a complete flat towing setup you will also need a base plate kit, tow bar, safety cables, and possibly a high-low adapter.
I recommend using the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit # BX2628 along with the Blue Ox Alpha Tow Bar # BX7380 which is rated for 6,500 lbs and comes with safety cables that have the same weight capacity.
Most flat towing setups require the use of a high-low adapter. I have linked our selection of adapter to this page as well as a helpful article that will help you choose the correct one for your application.
I have also linked some installation videos for you to check out, but you will need to check your owner's manual as well for any specifics when it comes to flat towing.
