Installation Position of Front Mount Hitch On a 2006 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited TJ
Updated 08/15/2011 | Published 08/14/2011 >
Question:
I have this hitch installed on a 95 Jeep Wrangler YJ. It installed on the topside of the front bumper. I now am considering adding one to my 06 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited TJ. Does this hitch go on the top or bottom side of that bumper?

The Draw-Tite Front Mount Trailer Hitch, # 65048, will mount on the top of the bumper on your 2006 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited TJ. I have linked the installation instructions and an installation video for you to review. You will need to remove the plastic shield, OEM tow hooks, and upper bumper bolts, to install this hitch.
