The Pollack 2-Pole Connector, # PK12801, is designed to have the wires attached with ring terminals. By crimping on ring terminals to the ends of the wires and then holding them on with the included screw, it will provide a strong and quick attachment method. The last picture on the product page shows a clear view of the back where the wires attach.
This connector is the vehicle side. If you also need the matching trailer side, it is # PK12800.
