Ive read you can install an aftermarket brake controller to 2018 ram. Review stated no reflash needed unless warning light. Im leasing dont want any issues? Help

You will not need to get your 2018 Ram 1500 flashed after installing the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 # 90885. This is a simple installation where you use the Plug-In Adapter # 3024-P which connects to the factory brake controller connector under your driver side dash. This will be in line with the accelerator pedal as you can see in the attached installation video.
You would have no issues with this install as the truck was designed for having a brake controller installed and used.
