Need to know if I can still buy an 88002 new. Having a hard time finding one on the Internet.

I checked up on trailer hitch 88002 and found that it was an OEM hitch put on several vehicles. It's not something that we carry or can get, but for your 2006 Chevy Malibu we have the Curt hitch part # C12272 as a confirmed fit if you are looking for a hitch for that vehicle.
