The correct Lo Pro QT tonneau cover for the 2005 Dodge Ram Pickup is part # TX546601, and as long as the spoiler near the tailgate on your Daytona edition does not spill over the side of the bed rail into the inside of the bed, this cover will work on your truck.
The TruXedo Lo Pro QT Tonneau Cover, # TX546901, that you referred to is designed to fit the 2009 - 2011 Dodge Ram Pickup 1500 Series, 6 Foot Bed pickups and will not fit on the 2005 model Dodge Ram.
