i dont have factory tow package, can i use this on my jeep?

The Hopkins Plug-In Simple Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # HM42635 is the correct wiring harness for your 2012 Jeep Wrangler that does not have the factory tow package. It will give you a 4-flat in order to power your trailer's lights.
