Will this fit the 2010 F150 Ford Tailgate and which side would you install it on drivers side or passengers side.

I checked and the tailgate lock part # PAL9900 is a confirmed fit for your 2010 Ford F-150.
With these you have to install the lock on the side of the tailgate that is designed to pivot out when lowered to remove it. Normally this is the passenger side.
