Question:

I have a 2005 f150 with a 5.5’ bed. I want to install a ladder rack and and a fold up not roll up bed cover. Is this possible? If so, what is the cheapest option? Thanks!

You absolutely can use a fold-up tonneau cover and ladder rack together on your 2005 Ford F-150 with a 5-1/2 foot bed; for an economical option you are going to need a soft tonneau cover that mounts inside the bed rails. The TruXedo Deuce 2 Soft Tonneau Cover # TX797601 can fold back the front section but rolls back the the rest of the way.

A compatible ladder rack is going to be the Adarac Custom Truck Bed Ladder Rack # A70490. This rack mounts on top of your F-150's stake pockets, has a carrying capacity of 500 lbs and have an assembled height of 25-7/8".
