Can Tire Chains be Used on the Front of a 2004 Ford F-150
Question:
Ive been advised NOT to install tire chains on the front of my 2004 F-150 due to the close clearance on the inside. Is this true? Ive also been there are tire chains specifically designed for this very issue. What do you suggest?

I looked in the owner's manual for your 2004 Ford F-150 and did not see anything about not being able to place tire chains on the front two wheels. They did however state that if you use tire chains, they must be Class S compatible which is a very common type of tire chain.
If you can tell me what size tires you have on your 2004 Ford F-150, I would be happy to recommend a set of Class S chains that will work well for you.
