Question:

Hello - I have a 1996 Bison TL stock trailor GR VEH WT 3000. I would like to add a caster wheel. Is BD500245 a recommended section assuming it fits my jack? Also I need to add turn signals and some type of marker lights to the dully wheel wells. any recommendations or kits? anything else I should consider for this old stock trailer?

Caster wheel # BD500245 could potentially fit your current jack. It is designed to fit 2 inch diameter jack tubes. The wheel is rated for 1,200 pounds so if the jack is rated higher you will still be limited to 1,200 pounds.

Trailers in the US have combined brake lights and turn signals. If you want to have separate amber turn signals on the fenders then that will require some additional parts. The left turn/brake light wire on the trailer connector will need to be split with one of the wires going back like normal and the other one would have to connect to the yellow wire on converter # 118158. You would do the same with the right turn/brake light wire except that it will go to the green wire on the converter. The white wire will ground to the trailer frame.

On the output side of converter 118158 the yellow wire will be left turn signal only, green with be right turn signal only, and red will be brake lights only.

The yellow wire can then go to an amber turn signal using fender mount # A67BB and light # MC65AB. If you want to pass on the turn signals then you could just add clearance/marker lights using # BA44FNR for the right side and # BA44FNL for the left side. These would wire into the trailer wiring without needing a converter.
