Do I need to run a new line from the tailgate to the front of the truck to have a power lock?

If your 2014 Toyota Tacoma has power locks already then the Pop & Lock Custom BOLT Lock Tailgate Handle # PAL8540 will simply wire into that power lock circuit. If the truck does NOT have power locks already then you will need to provide 12V power and use Switch Kit # PAL9520.
