Troubleshooting Brake Controller Wiring Not Active on 2001 Chevy Silverado 2500HD

Question:
I have a 2001 2500HD Chevy and have no power to the red wire terminal where the pigtail plugs under the dash. I checked the fuses and peddle switch all seem good. I didn’t know if there might be another inline fuse or maybe one under the dash where the relay for the brake peddle switch is? I was thinking about splicing into the white wire on the peddle switch? Just wondering if you guys had a quick fix for something I overlooked befor splicing onto the switch

Your 2001 Chevy Silverado 2500HD needs to have a couple connections made under the hood for the brake controller wiring to be active. I attached a picture that shows the connections that need to be made as well as a link below that walks you through the entire process.
