Recommended 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch for 2015 Chevy Silverado and Revolution King Pin

Question:

I am looking for a fifth wheel hitch that is compatible with the revolution king pin. I have a 2015 Silverado crew cab with the 5’8” foot bed. I would prefer under bed mount but I am noticing the choices are limited for those with the revolution and short bed. What do you suggest?

The only under bed system available for your 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 is the Demco Hijacker # DM8550041 along with the Underbed Rail Kit # DM8551008. This particular hitch is not compatible with the Revolution king pin on your trailer.

I instead recommend looking at the Reese Select Plus 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # RP30928, along with the Quick-Install Custom Base Rails # RP50064-58. This is an excellent hitch that features a forged, single-piece self-latching jaw that will provide great jaw-to-king-pin contact for less rattle and a smooth ride. Its 9 inch wide funnel allows for easier hook-up with the trailer and the 4-Way pivoting head will let you hook up on uneven ground. The hitch has a 20,000 pound towing capacity and an adjustable height between 14 and 18 inches. The custom base rails and brackets will use existing holes in your truck's frame to drastically cut down on installation time and drilling.
