It sounds like you don't have the factory 7-Way on your 2015 Toyota Tacoma. We do have some parts that you can install that will give you a 4-Way and 7-Way combination on your Tacoma.
To start off I recommend going with the Tekonsha T-One # 118496 which plugs in behind your tail light housing just like the Hopkins # HM11143910 that you referenced installs. This will give you a 4-Way for basic trailer lighting functions.
If you are needing a 7-Way as well then you will need to install the Universal Wiring Kit # ETBC7. This will plug in directly to the previously installed 4-Way and will give you everything you need for a fully functioning 7-Way.
I have attached some installation videos for both products that you can reference for the install. The video for the # ETBC7 kit also shows how to install the Prodigy P3 # 90195 brake controller so if you need to utilize a brake controller I recommend using the same one.
