At the rear of a trailer or RV the ride quality is very rough when compared to the ride quality at the rear of a passenger vehicle. Reason being the suspension isn't as sophisticated and there is a longer distance between the rear axle and the rear of the trailer which exaggerates the movement of the trailer when hitting bumps. Because of that only a few bike racks were designed to be reinforced enough for that type of use.

The Swagman Dispatch part # S64684 is a great RV approved bike rack that would work well for you. We would highly recommend it for your application.

We have the # RM-077-4 which has a towing capacity of 10,000 lbs and is designed for use in flat towing setups in case you need the higher hitch opening for the bike rack.

I'd recommend the Swagman Escapee # S64693. This is a reinforced bike rack that would work great at the rear of your CR-V. It will only touch your bikes at the tires too which protects their finish.
