Recommended Replacement RodBuckle Retractable Fishing Rod Tie-Down

Question:
Looking to order the above rod straps, my boat came with Boatbuckle rod straps and were installed the concealed way. The installation must have been done at the factory. I have not looked at the original installation, but there is a bolt with a plastic cap coming out of the gunwale where the retractable rod strap is mounted. Is this the right product that I need to order? Boat model. 1997 Nitro Savage 884 Best regards

Based on the picture you provided, the RodBuckle Retractable Fishing Rod Tie-Down # IMF14200-02 referenced in your question does appear to be an exact replacement. The included mounting kit conceals most of the RodBuckle behind the wall of your boat's gunwale like your existing unit and the self-retracting function will let you grab your fishing rod quickly.
I have attached the complete installation instructions that you can also take a look at so you can confirm if this will be the same process as what you currently have installed.
